After getting a bit wet earlier in the week on Anglesey, we were treated to a glorious day in Pentre Felin while carrying out work on a large, storm-damaged oak tree.
Several substantial branches had been damaged during a recent storm, with some completely snapped and others left hanging dangerously. A number of these branches had already fallen onto the customer’s pagoda, causing damage, although thankfully the nearby hot tub escaped unscathed.
To remove the remaining hazardous limbs safely, we used a combination of rigging and lowering ropes, allowing the branches to be carefully dismantled and controlled to avoid any further damage to the pagoda or surrounding decking.
This job involved a good deal of problem solving to ensure a safe and successful outcome, and was a great example of professional storm damage tree work carried out in challenging conditions.
