With the Transit and Hilux both in for their MOTs, it provided a good opportunity to catch up on some office work. As it had been a little while since our last update, we thought it was a good time to share a few photos from recent tree surgery jobs carried out across North Wales.
Oak Tree Removal Near Llanfairfechan
The first set of images shows the sectional dismantling of a mature oak tree that unfortunately had to be removed due to safety concerns. The work was carried out in a beautiful coastal location near Llanfairfechan, just a short distance from the North Wales coastline.
Due to the tree’s size and surroundings, it was carefully dismantled in sections to ensure the work was completed safely and without risk to nearby property or the landscape.
Crown Reduction of a Chestnut Tree in Caernarfon
The next four photos show a crown reduction carried out on a chestnut tree in Caernarfon. Crown reduction was used to manage the size of the tree while maintaining its natural shape and overall health.
This type of work is commonly undertaken where trees have outgrown their setting or where reduced loading on limbs is required.
Oak Tree Reduction in Llanberis
The final image shows a reduction carried out on an ivy clad oak tree in Llanberis, North Wales. The work was completed to improve clearance and manage the tree’s size while preserving its structure.
