The last few weeks have been particularly busy, which hasn’t left much time for taking photos. However, we did manage to capture a few images from a couple of recent tree surgery jobs carried out across North Wales.
The first set of photos shows a crown reduction carried out on a mature ash tree overhanging two residential properties in Caernarfon. Although it was a fairly atmospheric day, the weather held off, allowing the work to be completed safely and efficiently.
By carefully reducing the crown, we were able to improve light levels and reduce the risk posed by the tree, leaving two very happy households who can now enjoy more North Wales sunshine in their gardens.
The final photos were taken at a local outdoor education centre, where we removed a large branch from an ash tree that was overhanging the building. The branch contained several large cavities, raising safety concerns due to its proximity to the dormitories below.
Once the hazardous limb had been safely removed, the area was left secure, allowing students and staff to use the building with complete peace of mind.
